Welcome to the Nickel District Conservation Foundation

Through supporting recreational & educational programming in the Lake Laurentian Conservation Area the Nickel District Conservation Foundation seeks to inspire adventure locally.

Whether it’s through funding free workshops, expanding & maintaining trails, or building collaborative bridges with local businesses the Foundation is constantly working to encourage our community to get active – and most importantly get outside!

Every day the world gets a bit more connected – and a bit smaller.

Help us grow opportunities at Lake Laurentian and keep adventure local.

The Conservation Area is free to access but not free to maintain.  If you’ve enjoyed the area, please consider making a donation.
